In order for the Women’s Giving Circle to have funds available for annual awarding, cash gifts are required for membership in the Women’s Giving Circle. (Cash gifts include checks, credit card payments and gifts of appreciated securities.)
Membership Options
- Alumna, 1-5 years post-graduation: $250/year
- Alumna, 6-9 years post-graduation: $500/year
- Alumna, 10+ years post-graduation: $1,000/year
- Friend: $1,000/year
- U of A Faculty, Staff and Spouse: $500/year
- Lifetime Membership: $10,000 (pledge payments possible)
Alumnae status will be determined from the date of the first degree earned from the University of Arkansas.
You may opt to pay your membership dues on a monthly basis or on another payment schedule that meets your needs.
Membership Perks
- Three e-newsletters/year with membership profiles, message from the president, photos and event updates, and funding recipient features.
- Invitation to attend reception and voting event each fall, where pooled funding is allocated to campus initiatives that apply to receive annual grants.
- Opportunities to participate in social, networking and recruitment events.
- Additional opportunities to assist with various campus and statewide programs.
- Contributions count toward membership in Chancellor’s Society.

Women’s Giving Circle Founders Endowed Advance Arkansas Scholarship
The Women’s Giving Circle Founders Endowed Advance Arkansas Scholarship was established with $25,000 from the circle and a $25,000 match from the chancellor’s office. First-generation students with financial need will be given preference to receive the scholarship.
